I am in New York City right now for work, family, and for fun. Cool combo right?
Well today I went to see news talk show host Sean Hannity, and did a stint on his American Panel airing May 7th on Fox News Channel 9pm EST/PST
A friend of mine gave me a little flack for going on the show, but I’m a true believer that you can disagree with someone on their politics and like them as a person.
Why does someone have to be deemed a good or bad person, just because we don’t agree with their point of view?
(assuming that these people are some what sane & not inflicting harm on others)
I’ve met Mr Hannity multiple times now, and even though we bust each others chops, he has always been very personable and kind to me.
So I can only speak from my own experience, and say he’s quite funny and lovely as a person even when the camera’s aren’t rolling.
Ok on to the next, after the show, I decided to hit the subway, because I’d never taken a train in NY before.
On my journey I met a very interesting NYPD officer and we had a nice chat about everything from favorite tv shows to the recent oil spill, after we were done conversing I stumbled upon an English Fish & Chips shop in Greenwich Village
Stopped off there, got some grub,
then popped into the connecting British Shop next door and picked up some English Chocolate.
Jumped back on the subway to Times Square, walked to Port Authority and caught a bus to New Jersey.
It was quite the adventure in a medium sized nutshell
Here are some pictures from the evening
Much love to you and yours
LK

Love the work you do. And I totally respect that politics-doesn’t-have -to-be-a detriment to a friendship attitude. Good luck to you always.
You had too much fun in NYC. It’s interesting that you said that u can disagree with someone’s political views and still like them as a person. I agree with that because u can disagree with someone and still like them as a person. Some people have a hard time doing that.
I totally agree with your 1st comment layla, maybe if politicians actually listened to each other instead of hating each other just on principal maybe our government would get stuff done and get it done right
btw who takes your pictures?

Down to earth….thats why we love ya
Ahh if your in NJ you guys should come up to my school
YOU ARE AMAZING!!! YOU are one of the few guests that have challenged him and actually got him to FOLD. I’m a fan of Sean’s but to watch him meet his match is an incredible day.
You are BREATHTAKING, COMPLETELY INTOXICATING…and I’m INTOXICATED NOW!! THANK YOU!!!
You seem like a very nice person; however, you are too comfortable giving voice to uneducated opinions. You should take some time to read up on the political, environmental, and economic issues of the day. If you don’t understand the issues after the effort, it is your responsibility to keep quiet.
As Lincoln said: “Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt.”
i saw the lust in your eyes on hannity. =)
FIRST – As a regular viewer of Hannity (and before that, Hannity & Colmes), what I just witnessed was a RARE EVENT. And I -LOVED- IT.
You are VERY adroit and you are no match for Sean. I know his tactics VERY WELL, and you overcame his bullying/silencing very smoothly. Bravo to you for having a fucking backbone AND speaking intelligently.
Please, PLEASE, please… tell them that you want to come back. I would LOVE to see another round of that. That was GREAT TV.
I must admit, I was not aware of who you were until this airing, but please be rest assured that from now on, I will associate your name/face very favorably!
WAY TO GO.

I disagree with 90% of your arguments but I always enjoy watching you make them! You make disagreeing fun again. The democrats need more people like you – someone you can have a different point of view – debate it and still be friendly.
I hope to see you on Fox News more often.
Best.
Layla,
Thank you for making a very valid point. You said to Sean that it was possible to disagree with someone and still be friends. That statement was full of wisdom! I look forward to hearing you speak again.
I will never understand people who are fans or not a fan of celebrities based on their political views rather then whether they are enjoyable in what they do. On one hand you are not a political pundit like Hannity or on the other side of the spectrum lets say Rachel Maddow. You’re just (for lack of a better phrase) a “television personality”. That said you have a mind and opinion and are more then free to share it, regardless of what anyone else says. Personally I’d love to see you on “Real Time” w/ Bill Mahar, but I respect that you’re willing to go on a network that perhaps a number of your fans don’t like. Keep taking the road less travelled LK.
