I’ve been hyped about going to Comic-Con for a minute, but now I may have to go out of town,
which may mean no Comic-Con for me ![]()
but I got my costume a while ago and intend on wearing it whether I make it down there or not!
I used to collect Comic Books when I was younger, but because I moved so much I stopped collecting. I was a huge Punisher fan and still am.
I’m thinking of reviving my old time hobby again.
Do you collect any comics and if so which ones?
In the mean time here’s a sneak peak of my Comic-Con inspired get up
Incase you haven’t already guessed I’m Power Girl ![]()
I’m kinda digging being a blonde for the night
More pics to come

Pretty hot
.
Well hot damn for starters. And I collect comics as well. Currently own each individual copy of The Walking Dead, Y: The Last Man, and have been collecting Locke & Key lately as well. I also buy a lot of Green Lantern and most Marvel events in trades.
Nice cross between Emma Frost and the uncanny xmen’s Rogue
Well Damn!
Now, I’m really upset that I won’t be going to Comic-Con!
It’s Power Girl!
I love you as Power Girl
……WOW, well worn Layla, well worn
Great choice, great costume LK. LoL If nothinhg else at least you got a sexy outfit to strut around in at home, I bet your man appreciates it and could certainly make for some fun. I quite like when a beautiful woman is willing to put on a sexy costume and/or outfit for their guy. I certainly look forward to more pics Power Girl. XoXo
Fracking Fantastico! You really need to make an appearance at Comic Con! You still have my cell number I hope. Please text or call me if you go because I really need a picture with the Best Power Girl ever! Cheers!
Yowza…
As for reigniting the comic collecting…as I’ve got more than a dozen long boxes worth of such tomes, it’s a fun hobby that has actually HELPED me in many ways. Yet it can still be frustrating between crossover storylines and company mucky-mucks…I’m looking at you, Joe Quesada…who mess up a beloved character. If you’re going to collect, you should know what to expect. Knowing IS half the battle. *G.I. JOOOOOOOEE!!*
My brother would say collect writers rather than characters. So on that note, I recommend:
-J. Michael Straczynski had a great run on Amazing Spider-Man and currently pens Superman and Wonder Woman.
-Grant Morrisson (Batman, Batman & Robin) is a smart writer, sometimes too much so for me to grasp as I’m reading.
-Craig Kyle and Mike Carey have thoroughly entertained me with the two core X-Men titles.
-Paul Dini (Streets of Gotham, Gotham City Sirens) is worth note, especially if you’re a fan of Batman: The Animated Series
-Adam Beechen (Batman Beyond mini-series) also does not disappoint.
Lastly, if you’ve not already, pick up the collected Watchmen. SOOOO much better than the film. Dr. Manhatten’s monologue about procreation is oddly beautiful for being so cold and scientific, and I don’t think they quite captured it with celluloid.
Well I’m not sure if you have a dual citizenship to both the UK and here or if you are just a citizen here but the UK has had some great writers and artists have come from there.
I would suggest Neil Gaiman’s Sandman by DC/Vertigo.
Fables another Vertigo comic is great basically what if the old fairy tale stories still existed and lived in secret in New York City.
If you like your Punisher extremely extremely violent there’s Punisher Max.
Planetary by fellow UKer Warren Ellis and American artist John Cassaday is really quite good.
All Star Superman by Scotland’s own Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely is one of the best Superman stories I’ve ever read.
Ed Brubraker’s criminal is excellent if you like Crime stories.
100 Bullets by Brian Azarello and Eduardo Risso. Get the first trade paperback First Shot Last Call.
Ex Machina what happens when a former superhero becomes Mayor of New York.
It all depends on what you want to read though? Do you want Superheroes? Slice of Life? Hard gritty crime fiction?
I still have the 1st run of the 4 part Transformer comics, worth more to me now that D-bag Bay ruined the series.
You shoulnt have any problem gettin’ tud in this outfit.
Too cooL.
Great costume, looking so sexy. You’re going to draw a huge crowd if you go to Comic-Con. I actualy collect comics that are based on cartoons I grew up watching as well as videogame characters I love.
Great outfit! If you can’t go to Comicon this year then maybe next year. I still collect comics and have and collect all the Punisher titles. Also collect the Xmen titles.
a little less flash or a filter would give you a better result but you have some great stems there lady!!!!
Lol awesome I read Deadpool so ummm yaaaa u look beautiful as always keep it up Layla
So, did you end up getting to wear the costume at Comic-Con?
I couldn’t believe I actually guessed it right! Lol Hope you got to rock it like you hoped to this past weekend.
i heard johnny depp is in the next batman movie…omg…i didn’t think the dark knight could be topped, but johnny depp is going to make this movie incredible!
I love those boots; they fit your legs gorgeously and are beautifully made besides. Do you have boots for just about any ensemble or occasion? Tight shiny black stilettos come to mind.
Will more pics of your outfit ever be posted?
