Palms-Thai

Had the most awesome weekend, hit up Palms Thai in Hollywood, where they have inexpensive delicious Thai food.
I’m ashamed to say this was my first time trying Thai food and I loved it!
We went as a large group, and it was a blast…
The best part of the night though was Thai Elvis Kavee Thongpreecha, who entertained and sang Elvis songs while we dined.
If you’re ever in the Hollywood area and want to have a fun night with friends, it’s an awesome spot to hit up :)

Timeless Pictures

I was going through pictures of photo-shoots and I came across these two pictures that stood out to me.
They’re not fancy schmancy and actually pretty simple, and  the bonus is I’m not wearing much make up which I like.
When I’m not working I like to rock a natural face, I’m not really a fan of caking it on…
it’s the simple pictures with out all  the fashion and make up trends that end up being timeless in the end.

There’s not much skin in these pictures, but that’s why I like them ;)
I think there’s a time and place for sexy, and it’s definitely not for all the time.

An evening of dance

My friend Erica is the coolest chick,
She is like my blonde Latina partner in crime, and together we go on our adventures.

Tonight we had a bit more of a chill evening, we went to a dance show held by CollidEdance, and even though we couldn’t stay long we got to catch a couple of performances, and I even bumped into some of my friends from our ABDC music team  District 78 which made me super happy.

Anyhoo we had a good time, the dancers where incredible just wish we could’ve stayed longer.

On a side note, I was minding my own business, looking around the venue when I spotted this mural, I mean I had to take a second look because I couldn’t believe my eyes! Do you see what I’m talking about? I mean I guess art is art?

Nike Rival Rally

I was so stoked when I heard Nike wanted me to host their Nike Rival Rally Event in Santa Monica.
I am a die hard Nike girl and have been rockin’ their gear for as long as I can remember, so of course I said yes.

The event was for rival Highschools in Southern California to showcase who had the most school spirit, and they had to do so by performing on the Nike Rival Rally runway.
We had three celebrity athlete judges judging the schools based on performance, energy and presentation.

I had the most amazing time, meeting all the students, the Nike family and all the people that came out to support.

Here are some pictures from the high spirited evening ;)

Vacation in the Bahamas

I usually don’t like taking vacations where I lounge around and do nothing all day, I go stir crazy.
However I think me and the honey were long overdue for a relaxing do nothing lay on the beach all day, and eat lots
kind of holiday ;)
so we both agreed we’d take a long weekend trip to the Bahamas and boy am I glad we did.

We stayed at this gorgeous hotel called The Cove which is a part of the Atlantis and one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve seen.
The beaches in the Bahamas are so beautiful, so crystal clear, and we met so many nice people.
A big shout out to John Conway  and his staff at The Cove who took such good care us and made us feel like we never wanted to leave!
Here are some pictures from the trip, such a fun time!

Showing some love

I went to show some love to Napolean and Tabitha D’umo a couple of weeks ago. They are incredible choreographers and choreograph for lots of different shows including for our show,
Randy Jackson Presents America’s Best Dance Crew.

They’re also choreographing for So You Think You Can Dance this season and I decided to drop by and surprise them, it was so nice to see them and Hiro from We Are Heroes (our ABDC Season 4 Champions) joined us too :)

It was a fun night! Although a word of advice; you’d never want to get into a dance battle with these lot :p

Sophia Loren

My all time favorite beauty.
I wish they’d make movie stars like they used to.

Comic-Con

I’ve been hyped about going to Comic-Con for a minute, but now I may have to go out of town,
which may mean no Comic-Con for me :(
but I got my costume a while ago and intend on wearing it whether I make it down there or not!

I used to collect Comic Books when I was younger, but because I moved so much I stopped collecting. I was a huge Punisher fan and still am.
I’m thinking of reviving my old time hobby again.
Do you collect any comics and if so which ones?

In the mean time here’s a sneak peak of my Comic-Con inspired get up
Incase you haven’t already guessed I’m Power Girl ;)
I’m kinda digging being a blonde for the night

Thank YOU

Hi lovelies,

Just wanted to write a quick note to say thank you so much for all the support and love.
I really enjoy reading your emails, comments and even more so I love surprise calling you guys :)
I came across this picture of me at CES over a year ago, and John who’s in the picture came up to me and asked me to take a picture with him,
of course I said Yes!
He was so sweet and we had a brief chat, and it’s those kinds of moments when I connect with you guys that makes me so grateful for all the  support.

So basically what I’m saying is, if you ever see me out and about please come and say hi, okay?
I’m the one that is appreciative of you for taking the time out of your busy day to reach out to me.

Hope you and yours have a safe happy 4th of July weekend.
I became an American Citizen a couple of years back, so I’ll be celebrating my freedom from those loony Brits too ;)

These boots were made for walking
